Bideford Pride 2025 has been confirmed for the 31st May

Bideford Pride 2024 was hosted for the first time by Sunrise Diversity and Transilience CIC. The event attracted over 600 people. The event was supported by local businesses and individuals,  the Police, Unison, The Burton at Bideford, Atlantic Racquet Centre, our Voluntary Sector partners and other fantastic sponsors. As well as being a fantastic event that provided entertainment, food, and art focused activities, the event served as an introduction between community members looking for support, and support providers. Our mission is to ensure that we celebrate diversity and inclusion, and that our LGBTQ+ community members, and all of our young people, know that Bideford is PROUD of its LGBTQ+ community. 

The dedicated Bideford Pride Committee vow to make Bideford Pride 2025 even better! Following the feedback from last years event, we have even better entertainment this year, and we have a strong focus on youth involvement. With the help of The Bideford Regeneration Board, we have been able to employ the support of two local young people to support our committee with our media and coms, and join the committee to represent youth voice. We are currently recruiting young volunteers to join us in the planning and execution of the day, offering several avenues to engage in the event, including competitions to design T-shirts that will later be sold to assist with fundraising. The Burton At Bideford are supporting us once again, and have recently launched a project to make sections of what will be a large community made Pride banner! We can't wait to see the community having a great time at Bideford Pride 2025 on the 31st May at Victoria Park!
