Bideford’s 2025 Event Lineup Revealed – Over 50 Events a Month!

Discover Bideford is excited to unveil the town’s action-packed 2025 Spring/Summer event calendar, featuring over 50 events every month.
From quirky traditions to major festivals, there’s something for everyone — whether you’re a foodie, a sports enthusiast, or just looking for a great day out.

Event Highlights, include:

Eat Bideford Festival (April 5th) – A feast for the senses, celebrating the best local food and drink.
Bideford Fair, Mayors Parade & Waverley Visit (June 7th) – A full family fun day, plus a rare chance to see the world’s oldest paddle steamer dock in town.
Bideford Pride (May 31st) – A vibrant and inclusive celebration of diversity and love.
Soapbox Derby (July 6th) – High-energy, homemade cart racing at its best!
Water Festival & Cardboard Regatta (July 20th) – Cheer on teams as they race their handmade cardboard boats.
Bideford 10K Run (May 11th) & The Rowing Regatta (June 21st) – Showcasing the town’s love for sport and community spirit.

Latest Updates!

‘Melting Ice / Riding Tides’ on the 27th June. This event is not free, please visit discoverbideford.co.uk soon for more information.
Sadly ‘Bideford’s Got Talent’, planned for 25th July, has been cancelled.
‘North Devon Festival of Transport’ on the 10th August. This event is not free as originally stated, it is £5 per adult with under 16’s free when accompanied by an adult.
‘Bideford Music Days’ (Previously scheduled for the 2nd & 3rd August) now scheduled for the 16th August. Free entry, but donations are welcome!
