Local entrepreneurs win Launch Bideford competition

Two fantastic local independent businesses have just been crowned winners of the LaunchBideford competition, an awesome new initiative powered by Torridge District Council, in collaboration with Bideford Town Council, SaveTheHighStreet.org, and a network of enthusiastic local supporters.

After a thrilling and competitive selection process, the spotlight now shines on Mrs Animation, brought to life by the incredibly talented Sarah Lee Pettifer, and Devonshire Cork and Vine, the brilliant brainchild of Christopher John Sheppard. These lucky winners are set to enjoy six months of rent-free space in Butchers Row at Bideford’s Pannier Market. But that's not all! T

LaunchBideford isn’t just about business growth; it’s about reimagining how empty shops can be transformed into bustling hubs of local enterprise and community spirit. The competition was fierce, attracting over 40 amazing applications from across the district. Each application was meticulously reviewed, and a shortlist of businesses was invited for interviews before the final winners were announced.
