Overlooking the River Torridge, this old-world pub with rooms dates back to the mid-1500s. It’s a 7-minute walk from the Burton Art Gallery and Museum, and 3 miles from both the beach and Northam Burrows Country Park and the Royal North Devon Golf Club.

A stone's throw away from us is the Tarka trail which has beautiful scenery and is ideal for a daily walk or run!

The 3 relaxed rooms come with en suite bathrooms and river views.

In addition to complimentary breakfast (for overnight guests) the pub also serves all-day pub grub, and offers a warm bar with real ales and spirits, as well as a wine room with tastings and food matchings. There’s also a pavement terrace.
