Bideford Soapbox Derby: Full of Crazy Thrills and Spills!

• When: 06th July 2025
• Event start: 11 am
• Racing start: 12 midday
• Race route: starts on the top of town at the Pannier Market, racing down to Greenville Street, hard right to High Street with a big finish left on the quay.

Event Highlights:

The Soap Box Derby event attracts over 5,000 spectators! Each team participating builds its own racing contraptions, showcasing its creativity and skill. Come and watch these amazing soapboxes in action—a truly bonkers Bideford event!

Organised by Out of This World Events: The exhilarating annual Soapbox Derby is a charity endeavour organised by Becky Edwards, also known as Out of this World Events. Since its inception in 2019, this event has been a spectacular showcase of creativity, skill, and community spirit.
