Signing of the Lease at The Pannier Market

The Mayor and Civic Party with the Councillors will process from the Town Hall, led by the Town Cryer and Standard Bearer, along Allhalland Street, into the High Street and up, turning left into Grenville Street, taking it slowly to the Pannier Market.  The Town Band play Christmas Carols and we give out the Allotment Awards.  After which, the Mayor dispenses mead to all who have gathered and the Councillors distribute mince pies and clotted cream to all.  It is a lovely festive time of year
