Yinka Shonibare CBE was born in London in 1963 and moved to Nigeria aged three. His interdisciplinary practice incorporates painting, sculpture, prints, photography and film.
Shonibare was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2004, and his first public art commission was displayed on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square in 2010. He is also one of eight artists selected for the Nigerian Pavilion at the 2024 Venice Biennale.
Exhibition dates: 15 June – 10 August. Free entry.
