The board recognise that Bideford lacks an updated and relevant digital voice. The love Bideford Project has been curated to address this.
Discover Bideford Website
The first step was to create a Bideford website with social posting. The defunct OneBideford.co.uk website has been transformed and relaunched as Discover Bideford. This website is:
- All about Bideford, designed to celebrate, support and connect the community as well as promote what this beautiful town has to offer to visitors.
- A platform to create a voice, image and identity for Bideford and promote the town's event programme.
- Celebrate Bideford’s comprehensive local business/organisation/ / club listings to help promote the many things to see and do in Bideford.

Promotion of the website
To increase awareness of the Discover Bideford website and the town's event programme the ‘Love Bideford’ campaign was launched in 2023.
Amongst some limited traditional and digital advertising the Love Bideford campaign includes low-cost, sustainable yet effective in-town wild posting which aims to also bring colour to the streetscape. The campaign includes Banners, Bollard covers, Flags, Bus stop advertising, Posters and Town Map signs.
